Jannid's Blueberry Sauce & Grilled Cake |

put this on grilled angelfood cake! Ingredients:
20 oz blueberries, wild frozen |
1/3 c orange juice |
1/3 c sugar |
2 t lemon juice |
4 t cornstarch |
1 angel food cake |
Directions:
1. Combine blueberries, orange juice, and sugar in a medium saucepan. Cover and gradually bring to a boil over medium high heat, stir occasionally. Reduce heat; simmer four minutes. 2. While the berries simmer combine the lemon juice and cornstarch in a small bowl and add to the berries at the end of the four minute simmer. Bring to a boil for a minute or two. 3. Either serve right away, or cool, refrigerate, and warm up later to serve. 4. Can be refrigerated 3-4 days. |
