Great and easy Gingersnap recipe!
Ingredients:
3/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses
2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
3/4 teaspoon clove
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon ginger
Directions:
1. Beat together Shortening, Sugar, Egg and Molasses.
2. Sift together and stir in Flour, Salt, Soda, Cloves, Cinamon, Ginger.
3. Form in ball the size of a walnut and roll in sugar.
4. Place on cookie sheet 2 apart. (Do not mash down.).
5. Bake at 350 approximately 13 min depending how crispy or chewy you want.
