Great and easy Gingersnap recipe! Ingredients:
3/4 cup shortening |
1 cup sugar |
1 egg |
1/4 cup molasses |
2 cups flour |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
3/4 teaspoon clove |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
3/4 teaspoon ginger |
Directions:
1. Beat together Shortening, Sugar, Egg and Molasses. 2. Sift together and stir in Flour, Salt, Soda, Cloves, Cinamon, Ginger. 3. Form in ball the size of a walnut and roll in sugar. 4. Place on cookie sheet 2 apart. (Do not mash down.). 5. Bake at 350 approximately 13 min depending how crispy or chewy you want. |
