A very inexpensive way to make stew,, Ingredients:
3 lbs stew meat |
1 (16 ounce) can pinto beans |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
2 stalks celery, chopped |
1 (3 ounce) package plain gelatin |
1 (16 ounce) bag frozen chopped onions |
2 carrots |
1 cup corn |
3 tablespoons uncooked rice |
1 cup egg noodles |
2 small potatoes |
12 cups water |
Directions:
1. In large stew pot, add stew meat, beans, salt, pepper and 4 cups water & cook for 2 hours. 2. Add celery, gelatin & onion & 4 cups water and cook for 1 more hour. 3. Add carrots, corn, rice & 4 cups water and cook 15 minutes. 4. Add noodles & potatoes & cook for 30 minutes and serve. |
