I found this recipe from Kikkoman. It definitely needs sriracha or something to spice it up, but serve it on the side. Ingredients:
1 lb chicken breast (skinless, boneless and cut into 1 inch cubes) |
1 lb smoked sausage, cut into 1/2 inch slices |
1 lb fresh tomato, diced |
3 celery ribs, chopped |
1 small onion, chopped |
1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped |
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce |
1 tablespoon creole seasoning |
4 bay leaves |
1 lb shrimp (frozen cooked, thawed and peeled) |
3 cups rice, cooked |
Directions:
1. In a slow cooker, combine chicken, sausage, tomatoes, celery, onion, green pepper, soy sauce, creole seasoning, and bay leaves. 2. Cover and cook on low for 7 hours. 3. Stir in shrimp and rice and cook until heated through. |
