Ingredients:
1 lb chicken breast (cut in strips)
1 lb ground sausage
2 medium onions
3 celery ribs
1/2 cup chopped roasted red pepper
8 pealed and chopped garlic cloves
1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
1 tablespoon chopped fresh sweet basil
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano
1 tablespoon chopped fresh flat leaf parsley
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/2 cups long grain white rice
3 cups chicken stock
2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions:
1. 1. Brown the sausage and chicken in the oil.
2. 2. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer on low until most of the liquid is absorbed.
3. 3. Serve!
