Ingredients:
12 ounces boneless skinless chicken breasts |
2 green peppers, chopped |
1 medium onion, chopped |
2 stalks celery, sliced |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can whole tomatoes |
1/3 cup tomato paste |
1 1/2 cans beef broth |
1 teaspoon dried parsley |
1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil leaves |
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves |
1 teaspoon tabasco sauce |
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 lb shelled, steamed shrimp |
3 cups cooked rice |
Directions:
1. Cut chicken into 1-inch pieces. 2. Add all ingredients, except shrimp and rice, to crock pot. 3. Cook on low 8-10 hours or 3-4 hours on high. 4. Add shrimp the last 15-30 minutes of cooking. 5. Stir in rice when ready to serve. |
