Jam Filled Butter Cookies

This is my favirite non-chocolate cookie reipe! Great for anyday or holiday cookies!
Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter(no subs), softened
1/2 cup white sugar
2 egg yolks
1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 fruit preserves, any flavor
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
2. In a medium bowl, cream together butter, white sugar, and egg yolks
3. Mix in flour little a little bit at a time until soft dough forms.
4. Roll into 1 inch balls
5. If dough is too soft, refridgerate for 10-15 minutes
6. Place balls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
7. Use your fingertip to make a well in the center of each cookie.
8. Fill the hole w/ a half teaspoon of preserves.
9. Bake for 8-10 minutes in preheated oven, until golden brown on the bottom.
10. Remove from cookie sheet and cool on a wire rack.
