These are so good. Fast and easy too. They are very versatile, any jam will work but our personal favorite is raspberry. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 cups quick oats |
1 cup sugar |
3/4 cup margarine |
1 -2 cup jam (depends on how much you like) |
Directions:
1. Place dry ingredients in a bowl. 2. Stir in oats and sugar. 3. Cut in margarine until crumbly. 4. Pat 2/3 of crumbs in a 11 by 17 inch pan. 5. Spread with jam and top with remaining crumbs. 6. Bake at 375° for about 45 minutes (or until light brown around edges). 7. Cool and cut into bars. |
