This is a great recipe to bring to a cook-out or barbeque. Anyone who enjoys spicy food is going to LOVE this. Ingredients:
15 large fresh jalapeno peppers |
1 8oz block cream cheese |
1 pkg imitation crab meat |
1/2 lb shredded cheddar cheese |
salt |
Directions:
1. wash jalapenos and cut in half long ways 2. soak peppers in hot water with salt for 10 minutes 3. while peppers are soaking, mix cream cheese and crab meat together in a large bowl 4. lay peppers out on a non stick baking dish, and fill each one with a scoop of the cream cheese and crab filling 5. sprinkle cheddar cheese on top 6. bake for approx. 20 minutes on 400 degrees, or until peppers are soft and cheese is browned 7. take out of the oven, let it cool a bit, and serve |
