I found this online; you can make the filling ahead of time and refrigerate covered until ready to fill the phyllo cups. Ingredients:
15 frozen miniature phyllo tart shells |
4 ounces cream cheese, softened |
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded |
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped |
1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce |
bacon bits |
Directions:
1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2. Place phyllo cups onto a baking sheet. 3. Stir together cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, jalapenos, and hot sauce in a bowl. 4. Spoon mixture into phyllo cups. 5. Sprinkle bacon bits on top. 6. Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, about 15 to 20 minutes. 7. Serve warm. |
