CLAMS THAT HAVE A KICK AND ARE GREAT ANYTIME Ingredients:
4 dozen littleneck clams |
1/4 cup chopped cilantro |
2 teaspoons chopped garlic |
1/2 cup red wine |
1 tablespoon chopped jalapenos |
lime butter |
1/2 cup butter |
1/4 cup fresh squeezed lime juice |
Directions:
1. RINSE CLAMS AND DRAIN 2. IN LARGE SAUCEPAN WITH LID BRING REMAINING INGREDIENTS TO A BOIL 3. ADD CLAMS AND COVER 4. COOK 5 TO 7 MINUTES OR UNTIL CLAMS OPEN 5. LIME BUTTER 6. MELT BUTTER 7. ADD LIME JUICE 8. SERVE WITH CLAMS |
