An awesome accidental cup of coffee using /Colored-Sugar-79278 to play with my sugar. Ingredients:
2 1/2 tablespoons sugar (if you have a sweet tooth like me) |
blue food coloring |
1 (8 ounce) packet instant coffee |
1 drop vanilla extract |
boiling water |
milk |
coffee, mug |
Directions:
1. Put your water in the kettle and boil. 2. While your water is boiling, put your sugar, vanilla, and blue food colouring in the cup. About 8-10 drops will make a very vibrant blue. [Add more or less, to make the colouring of your choosing]; Stir. The sugar will get a little clumpy, but that's okay. It's going to get wet soon any ways. 3. When the kettle goes off [or your water boils], turn your water off; pour the instant coffee in with the blue sugar, [stir or don't stir; your choice]. 4. Pour the hot water 2/3 of the way full [or a little less if you like a lot of milk.] Stir the coffee, sugar, and water together before adding the milk. It should look like brown muddy water with a ring of blue around the top edges of the cup(if using a white mug). 5. Pour the desired amount of milk in; stir. [remember, the more milk you use, the lighter the colour of jade coffee]. 6. Warning: Your tongue and teeth will turn blue-ish after drinking! |
