This is a recipe I want to keep safe while sharing so I am putting here. I have worked on this recipe and have finally came up with a great snack that is healthy. I hope you enjoy as much as I do.You can add any thing you like to make it your favorite, like chocolate chips, nuts, rasins walnuts etc.
Ingredients:
4 cups whole oats
1 cup wheat flour
1 cup flour
1/2 cup wheat bran
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup coconut
1 cup almonds
1 cup craisins
1 cup peanut butter chips
1 cup honey
3/4 cup canola oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
1. In a large bowl add all dry ingredients, mix well. Add Honey,vanilla and oil in small bowl mixing well, add to dry ingredients and mix very well untill moist. Spray a jelly roll pan with oil spray and pour mixture on pan and pat out even and tight. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes. Cut with a pizza cutter in three long strips, then cut short side to make 24 pieces. Store in baggies after cooled.
