Delicious popper recipe, that is a crowd pleaser!! I made 60 for a party of 18 and they were gone within an hour! Enjoy! Ingredients:
30 jalapenos |
2 (8 ounce) packages light cream cheese, softened |
8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded |
1/2 cup light mayonnaise |
14 ounces pepper bacon |
1 tablespoon garlic salt |
2 teaspoons cumin |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Fry and drain bacon. Chop into small bits. 3. With gloves, cut jalapenos lengthwise and de-seed. 4. In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese, mayo, bacon, cheddar, and spices. Mix well until a smooth consistancy. 5. Fill jalapeno halves with cream cheese mixture and place on a cookie sheet. Bake for 30-40 minutes. |
