I found this copy cat recipe (from T.G.I. Friday's) while surfing the net along with a few others and found this to be the best. BEWARE!!!! This has an extremely bad odor while cooking, but after it has completely cooled it has an awesome taste. Can be used as a dip for shrimp also. Ingredients:
1 cup pineapple juice |
1/2 cup jack daniel whiskey |
2 cups firmly packed brown sugar |
2 beef bouillon cubes |
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon onion powder |
1 tablespoon garlic powder |
1 tablespoon tabasco sauce (or to taste) |
Directions:
1. In a small sauce pan combine all above ingredients. 2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. 3. Allow to cool completely. 4. Use as a glaze on any grilled meat. |
