Izakaya Sakura Pickled Salad With Wakame |

This recipe is fro a local Japanese restaurant. Ingredients:
1/2 sweet onion, finely sliced |
1 english cucumber, finely sliced |
2 tablespoons dried wakame seaweed, broken into small pieces |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
3 tablespoons rice vinegar |
1 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Hydrate dried wakame by soaking in a bowl of water. 2. Mix sliced cucumber and onion with salt and set aside for a few minutes. Squeeze moisture out and drain well. 3. Drain wakame and add to onion and cucumber. Add rice vinegar and soy sauce and mix. |
