Handy to have ready to go,for great cherry pie.
Ingredients:
4 lbs pitted cherries (2-3 cups=1 lb)
2 1/2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
water
Directions:
1. Add cherries to 3/4 cups of sugar and 1/3 cup water.
2. Bring to boil and boil one minute.
3. Add the rest of the sugar and corn starch, boil another minute.
4. Put in sterilized jars.
5. Process 10 minutes.
