Italian style Deviled Eggs |

Ingredients:
2 cloves garlic, finely minced |
3 anchovies, drained |
1/2 cup(s) extra virgin olive oil |
grated zest of one lemon |
12 hard boiled eggs, peeled |
minced basil or parsley |
salt and pepper |
smoked paprika |
tabasco |
3 tablespoons minced black olives |
Directions:
1. Cut each egg in half around the middle. Remove yolks and place them in a bowl. Add the anchovies. With the back of the spoon, mash the anchovies and egg yolks together until anchovies are fully incorporated. Add garlic, black olives, and lemon zest. Add olive oil a little at a time and mix thoroughly. Add a drop of tabasco, and salt and pepper to taste. Stuff egg mixture into egg whites. Garnish with smoked paprika and basil or parsley. |
