Italian Stuffed Bell Peppers |

This is my mom's recipe. I would boil my peppers to make them softer but I don't stuff the peppers anymore...I cut them up and add them to the rice. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1/3 cup chopped onion |
1 dash salt |
1 dash pepper |
1 teaspoon oregano |
1/2 teaspoon celery seed |
1/2-3/4 cup ketchup |
1/2 cup uncooked rice |
2 cups water |
1 dash worcestershire sauce |
1 dash tabasco sauce |
Directions:
1. Cook in skillet. Let simmer for 1 hour. 2. Place in baking pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. I like to add ketchup on the top before putting in the oven. |
