Growing up the only stew we had was this one made with meatballs ,veggies and tomatoe sauce . add a loaf of italian bread and you have a hearty supper for those cold nights. Ingredients:

4 or 5 potatoes cut in cubes (medium size) |
4 carrots cut in cubes |
1 large can tomatoe sauce |
1 can peas |
Directions:
1. Make meatballs 2. brown in oil in pan 3. put potatoes,carrots, and tomaote sauce in pan 4. cook until veggies are softe and tender om medium heat 5. at the end add can of peas with juice 6. i usually use a large dutch oven pan 7. on potatoes and carrots just a rough quess . you can use more or less depending on how much you want to make. |
