Italian Sausage Peppers Onions Amp Tomatoes |

A different twist on Italian sausage, peppers, and onions. Yum-O! Ingredients:
6 links italian sausage, poked (i use hot) |
3 green peppers, sliced (i like to use a green, red and yellow for color) |
1-2 large onion(s), sliced |
1 large garlic clove – smashed |
2-15 oz cans of stewed tomatoes |
salt & pepper (to taste) |
1 tsp sugar |
1 1/2 tbsp italian seasoning (i use mrs. dash) |
3 tbsp olive oil |
Directions:
1. In a warm pan add olive oil and sausage; cook until lightly browned on all sides. 2. Add tomatoes and stir well getting all of the good stuff of the bottom of the pan. 3. Add peppers, onions, garlic, and seasoning; Stir well. 4. Put heat on med low and cover. 5. Simmer until peppers are fork tender. 6. Do not overcook. 7. Serve over white rice or on a hoagie roll. |
