This is a grat kebab recipe for the BBQ - Ingredients:
1 green bell pepper |
1 yellow bell pepper |
1 sweet onion, quartered lengthewise, and halved crosswise |
8 italian sausages, quartered crosswise (hot or sweet) |
1 large head of garlic, separated into cloves and peeled |
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil |
salt & freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat grill or grill-pan to medium high. If using bamboo skewers, soak them in water for 10 minutes. Remove and discard seeds from both bell peppers, then quarter lengthwise. Cut each quarter in half crosswise, creating 8 chunks from each pepper. 2. Thread Italian sausage, peppers, onion, and garlic cloves onto 8 skewers. Brush kebabs with Extra-virgin olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. 3. Grill kebabs, turning occasionally, until slightly charred, 12-25 minutes. |
