Italian Sausage and Peppers Skillet |

Ingredients:
cooking spray |
1 pound italian turkey sausage links, cut in half crosswise (about 4) |
1 cup green bell pepper strips (about 1 medium) |
1 cup red bell pepper strips (about 1 medium) |
4 garlic cloves, minced |
3/4 cup tomato-basil pasta sauce (such as classico) |
Directions:
1. Heat a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium heat. Add sausage; cook 5 minutes, turning occasionally. Add pepper strips and garlic; cook 5 minutes, stirring often. Stir in pasta sauce; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 8 to 10 minutes or until sausage is done. Uncover and simmer 3 minutes or until sauce thickens and peppers are tender. |
