Makes a great salad dressing or marinade. Plan ahead - needs to refrigerate several hours or overnight. Ingredients:
1/4 cup canola oil or 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil |
1/4 cup red wine vinegar |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 teaspoon finely chopped onion |
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard |
1/2 teaspoon celery seed |
1/2 teaspoon paprika |
1/4 teaspoon italian seasoning |
2 -4 tablespoons sugar or 2 -4 tablespoons sugar substitute |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid; shake well. 2. Refrigerate overnight. Yield: 2/3 cup. |
