Italian Rum Raisin Bread Pudding |

This is the recipe from Atlanta Fish Market. Their bread pudding has a vanilla cream anglaise topping. It is wonderful! Ingredients:
1 1/2 loafs egg bread |
12 ounces white sugar |
1/2 quart heavy cream |
16 ounces raisins |
12 egg yolks |
4 ounces tuaca liqueur |
4 ounces banana liqueur |
8 ounces brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Mix white sugar and eggs. 2. Add heavy cream, raisins, Tuaca, banana liqueur and add to 1 1/2 loafs of egg bread cut into 1 cubes. 3. Gently mix. 4. Place mixture in buttered pan. 5. Cover with brown sugar. 6. Bake for 2 hours at 300°F. 7. This will make a lot so you may want to half the recipe. Make sure to cut the bread in small pieces and stir well to coat all the bread. |
