This is much better than just that normal can of peas! Ingredients:
2 lbs green peas |
1/4 cup olive oil |
6 scallions, minced |
1/4 cup fresh mint |
1/4 cup water |
salt & pepper |
grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Saute onion in hot oil until brown. 2. Add water, peas, mint, and seasonings. 3. Cover tightly and steam till peas are tender 7-8 minutes for young peas, 15 for large peas. 4. Serve hot sprinkle with parmesan cheese. |
