Italian Peas Parmesan (Piselli Alla Parmigiana)

This is much better than just that normal can of peas!
Ingredients:
2 lbs green peas
1/4 cup olive oil
6 scallions, minced
1/4 cup fresh mint
1/4 cup water
salt & pepper
grated parmesan cheese
Directions:
1. Saute onion in hot oil until brown.
2. Add water, peas, mint, and seasonings.
3. Cover tightly and steam till peas are tender 7-8 minutes for young peas, 15 for large peas.
4. Serve hot sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
