A really good Italian appetizer! Ingredients:
1/2 lb button mushroom |
1 tablespoon whole spices |
1 garlic clove |
1 1/2 cups wine vinegar or 1 1/2 cups cider vinegar |
1 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Wipe mushrooms well with damp cloth. 2. Heat vinegar until lukewarm. 3. Put mushrooms in a sterilized glass jar. 4. Add spices, garlic, warm vinegar, & salt & stir thoroughly. 5. Cover jar tightly. 6. Set aside in dry place for 2 days. |
