This recipe came from my mother-in-law. We eat them on sandwiches or just eat the meatballs. Makes a great meatball sandwich. Ingredients:
2 -3 lbs ground beef |
1 package saltine crackers |
2 tablespoons garlic powder |
1 (5 ounce) container parmesan cheese |
8 (10 3/4 ounce) cans tomato sauce |
8 (10 3/4 ounce) cans water |
1 -2 egg |
Directions:
1. Mix ground beef, one half container of cheese, garlic powder, crackers and eggs together. 2. In a large saucepan, mix tomato sauce and water together. 3. Bring to a boil. 4. Make meatballs and add to tomato sauce. 5. Cook for about 2 hours on medium heat. 6. Add rest of cheese to sauce before serving. |
