Great game time snack. Can be served on rolls or French Bread. Ingredients:
2 eggs, beaten |
1/4 cup milk |
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs |
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 lb ground beef |
1/2 lb bulk pork sausage |
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste |
1 small onion, chopped |
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper |
1/2 cup beef broth |
1/3 cup water |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1 teaspoon dried oregano |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon sugar |
Directions:
1. Make meatballs by combining eggs, and milk, add breadcrumbs, cheese and seasoning then add the meats. 2. Mixwell, and shape into 1 inch balls, broil or saute until brown, and put into slow cooker. 3. Combine sauce ingredients, and pour over meatballs. 4. Cover, and cook 4-6 hours. 5. Serve on rolls with creamy red potatoes, salad, or dessert. |
