This dish is so easy and the garlic gives it a great taste. Ingredients:
6 -8 ounces dried lentils |
8 cups water |
1/2 cup olive oil |
1 onion, quartered |
1 cup chopped celery |
1 tablespoon tomato paste |
4 -6 cloves garlic, peeled |
2 bay leaves |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Rinse lentils and drain. 2. Place all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil. 3. Reduce heat,cover and simmer for 2 hour. 4. Remove bay leaves and adjust salt and pepper if necessary. |
