I found this recipe in a cookbook years ago. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping. Ingredients:
3 garlic cloves |
2 teaspoons fresh oregano |
2 teaspoons fresh basil |
1/3 cup olive oil |
1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated |
2 1/2 cups tomato juice |
1/2 cup red wine vinegar |
Directions:
1. Place garlic, oregano, basil, in food processor. Whirl to mince. 2. Add oil, parmesan cheese, tomato juice, and red wine vinegar. Whirl to combine. 3. Refrigerate covered. |
