A creation I came up with when I had some left over spaghetti sauce from a home made pizza and left over baked chicken. It always surprises me when I can make up something different out of everyday items. Ingredients:
1 cup spaghetti sauce |
2 cups diced chicken, cooked |
1 small onion, diced |
1 green pepper, diced |
2 dashes hot sauce |
salt |
pepper |
1/2 cup parmesan cheese |
4 rolls |
Directions:
1. Place 1st 7 ingredients into a sauce pan and heat slowly. 2. Add Parmesan cheese; stir. 3. Heat rolls or ciabatta bread, or french bread. 4. Top bread with chicken mixture a slice of mozzarella cheese and broil until cheese is bubbly and melted. |
