This is great to serve as a starter to a pasta dish or even just as a snack. Ingredients:
2/3 cup fig balsamic vinegar (any flavor is fine) |
1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil |
1 artichoke heart marinated in oil (i bought this in a big jar) |
1 loaf of chewy and crusty bread. |
Directions:
1. Put the Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil together in a small bowl and mix thoroughly. 2. Chop the artichoke heart into about fingernail sized pieces. 3. Add artichoke to the vinegar/oil mixture. 4. Enjoy with the bread. I like to use a fresh Kalamata Olive bread. |
