After looking through my cupboards trying to find something to make for lunch, I came across these items and threw them together in a pan. The end result was delicious, so I decided to share... Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups canned tomato sauce |
1 medium tomato, chopped |
1 -3 garlic clove, minced |
2 -3 tablespoons italian seasoning |
1 teaspoon brown sugar (optional) |
1 cup canned black beans |
1 cup canned white beans (navy beans) |
1 cup canned corn |
parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, add tomato sauce, tomato, garlic cloves, Italian Seasoning, and brown sugar. Heat and stir on medium-low heat. 2. Once heated, stir in black beans, white beans and corn. 3. Stir until heated thoroughly and serve in bowls. 4. Add as much parmasean cheese as you would like to get the desired consistency. |
