Handley Methodist Cookbook Ingredients:
6 ounces pepperoni, cliced |
1 green pepper, chopped |
1 onion, chopped |
1 tablespoon butter |
12 ounces tomato paste |
8 ounces mushrooms, undrained |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
pepper |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
64 ounces pork and beans |
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated |
Directions:
1. In Dutch oven cook the pepperoni, green pepper and onion in butter until vegetables are tender. Stir in tomato paste, mushrooms, seasonings and beans, mix well. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour. |
