Always looking for new, simple recipes for asparagus- this one is very tasty and fresh Ingredients:
1 bunch asparagus |
1 t garlic, minced |
1 cup italian dressing |
1 t pepper |
pinch of sea salt |
fresh grated parmesan cheese |
1 t crushed red pepper flakes |
Directions:
1. Whisk together Italian dressing, pepper, garlic & salt 2. Bring water to boil, blanch asparagus until cooked (about 10 minutes), place in cold water so stop cooking, drain 3. Arrange on platter & drizzle with dressing 4. Sprinkle with cheese & red pepper flakes 5. Serve at room temperature or chilled |
