This version is simple, clean cut, fresh and quick. It comes from my Israeli husband and is the Be'er Sheva style. Ingredients:
1 tomato |
1 cucumber |
1/4-1/2 red onion |
1/4-1/2 cup lemon juice |
1 -2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Dice vegetables. 2. Add all ingredients to a bowl. 3. Mix. 4. Serve as is or chill for no more than 10 minutes. 5. Note: If preparing in advance DO NOT add olive oil and lemon juice until you are about to serve. |
