Island's Best Grilled Shrimp |

This was found on one of those ubiquitous flyers that realtors hand out. It is described as the best grilled shrimp you'll ever try. Ingredients:
2 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined |
3 garlic cloves, minced |
1 medium yellow onion, small dice |
1/4 cup minced fresh parsley |
1/4 cup minced fresh basil |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
2 teaspoons dijon mustard |
2 teaspoons kosher salt |
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper |
1/4 cup olive oil |
1 lemon, juice of |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients and allow them to marinate for at least one hour (the recipe states to do this at room temperature but I prefer to do this in the refridgerator). 2. Skewer the shrimp. 3. Brush the grill with oil or spray with cooking spray and then heat it up. 4. Grill the shrimp (but don't over cook them!). |
