My mother is from the Caribbean and this is the chutney I grew up with. It's a lot easier to make than many other versions of chutney. Ingredients:
1 mango - peeled, seeded, and chopped |
3 cloves garlic, chopped |
1/2 habanero pepper, seeded and chopped, or more to taste |
3 sprigs fresh cilantro, chopped |
1 tablespoon lime juice |
1/2 teaspoon salt, or more to taste |
Directions:
1. Blend mango, garlic, habanero pepper, cilantro, lime juice, and salt in a blender until desired consistency is reached. |
