These are very flaky, very butter and very easy to make. Enjoy Ingredients:
2 cups self rising flour |
3/4 cup milk |
3 tablespoons shortening |
1/2 cup melted butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 475. 2. Cut shortening into flour then gradually add milk. 3. Generously grease a small cast iron skillet. 4. Drop large spoonfuls of batter into skillet then bake 5 minutes and remove from oven and pour melted butter over top. 5. Return to oven and bake 15 minutes longer. |
