randy and darlene made spagetti sauce in 1984 doesnt say how much this makes just guessing tells how to get tomato juice by hanging in pillow cases old recipe not alot of info Ingredients:
1 gallon tomato juice |
3/4 cup sugar |
3 tablespoons salt |
2 garlic cloves |
2 onions |
3 tablespoons italian spices |
Directions:
1. to prepare tomatoes 2. wash and scald 3. and peel 4. and quarter 5. run thru food mill. 6. put in illow case 7. hang on clothes line to drain 8. water out as long as you want to 4 hours more or less 9. can squeeze pillow case to help get water out 10. next run thru blender 11. then thru food mill again 12. cook. 13. next page 14. put in blender garlic onion 1 pint tomato juice and spice 15. cook until thick(must add rest of tomato juice _. 16. put in jars and seal i would water bath them according to ball. |
