FOR A QUICK TOPPING FOR THESE WEDGES, MIX EQUAL PARTS OF ANY YOGURT, PLAIN OR FLAVORED WITH YOUR FAVORITE PRESERVES AND DRIZZLE ON TOP OF WEDGES.....FROM BETTY CROCKER
Ingredients:
1- 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup currents or raisins
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 container ( 8 ounces) lemon , or orange yogurt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions:
1. HEAT OVEN TO 375 DEGREES F.; LIGHTLY GREASE BOTTOM AND SIDE OF A ROUND PAN 9X1-1/2 INCHES, WITH SHORTENING.
2. MIX FLOUR, CURRENTS, BAKING POWDER, BAKING SODA, AND SALT IN A MEDIUM BOWL.
3. MIX YOGURT AND OIL;STIR INTO FLOUR MIXTURE JUST UNTIL FLOUR IS MOISTENED, SPREAD DOUGH IN PAN
4. BAKE ABOUT 20 MINUTES OR UNTIL TOOTHPICK INSERTED IN CENTER COMES OUT CLEAN; CUT INTO WEDGES.
5. SERVE WARM OR COOL
6. MAKES 8 WEDGES
