An irish classic-the whole house smells delicious while this is baking! Ingredients:
4 cups flour |
1 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
4 teaspoons baking powder |
2 cups buttermilk |
2 eggs, beaten |
raisins (optional) |
Directions:
1. Mix together dry ingredients. 2. Add wet ingredients and raisins, mix till all mushed together. 3. Put into two 9 round greased cake pans. 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
