Serve warm with lots of butter and Irish Lamb or Beef Stew. Ingredients:
8 ounces plain flour |
1 lb whole wheat flour |
1 teaspoon cream of tartar |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon sugar |
3/4 pint milk |
1 tablespoon yoghurt |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients. 2. Knead into a round and cut a cross on top. 3. Bake on a cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. 4. Serve warm. |
