Christmas cheer! This is rich, elegant and delicious. Easy to double or triple for a holiday open house. Recipe is from Leisure Arts. Ingredients:
2 quarts eggnog |
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
3 tablespoons instant coffee powder |
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
1 cup irish whiskey |
1 quart coffee ice cream |
Directions:
1. Combine first five ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
2. Beat at low speed until smooth; stir in whiskey.
3. Chill 1 to 2 hours.
4. Pour into a punch bowl.
5. Top punch with scoops of ice cream.
