I got this recipe from my friend Helen. Helen was my little old landlady who died at the age of 95. God bless her. She was a dear friend. Ingredients:
1/4 lb butter |
1 cup sugar |
2 eggs |
1 cup sour cream |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 1/2 cups flour |
2/3 cup sugar |
4 teaspoons cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Cream butter, add sugarand cream until no grains of sugar can be Beat in eggs one at a time. 2. Add sour cream and vanilla. 3. Mix salt, flour and baking soda and add together. 4. Grease a tube pan. 5. Pour 1/2 of batter into pan. 6. Add 1/2 of cinnamon mixture. 7. Cut in with knife. 8. Add the rest of batter. 9. Cut in cinnamon mixture, leaving a little to sprinkle on top. 10. Bake 350° 45 minutes. 11. Cool 15 minutes and remove from pan. |
