Iraqi Fried Kabobs

i realize that most people associate kabobs with a shish kabob.. something grilled and on a stick, but for us its actually more of an arab burger, typically not cooked on a skewer. frying isnt healthy but it sure tastes great!! served with toasted pita, and your choice of fresh veggies
Ingredients:
1 cup vegetable oil
1 lb ground beef
1/2 small onion, diced into very small pieces
1 tablespoon parsley
1/2 tablespoon salt
Directions:
1. 1. heat 1c oil in a frying pan.
2. 2. mix together remaining ingredients.
3. 3. form into small patties , fry a few minutes on each side.
