This yogurt dish is a fresh side dish for any Iranian entree. Ingredients:
2 cups plain yogurt |
1/4 cup sour cream |
1 tablespoon dried dill weed |
1 tablespoon dried mint |
1/2 cucumber, peeled, seeded, and diced |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts |
1/2 cup raisins |
3 whole walnuts |
6 raisins for decorating |
Directions:
1. Whisk together the yogurt, sour cream, dill, and mint in a bowl until evenly blended. Stir in the cucumber, chopped walnuts, and 1/2 cup of raisins. Pour into a serving dish and garnish with the whole walnuts and remaining raisins. |
