From The Desperate Gourmet-easy pie for frantic days Ingredients:
1 quart of coffee ice cream |
3 tablespoons of good brandy-or more to taste |
1 chocolate cookie crumb pie shell |
1 jar of real fudge sauce or use pleclare's fudge sauce (yum) |
use the very best you can find |
Directions:
1. Let ice cream soften enough to mix in the brandy. 2. Pile ice cream into pie shell and freeze until hard. 3. Spread fudge sauce over top and return to freezer until ready to serve. 4. Serves 6. If you must garnish with fresh berries and whipped cream. |
