Intoxicated Chicken Wings

These are so full of flavor and are a sure hit at any casual get together.
Ingredients:
3 pounds of chicken wings
3 tablespoons garlic powder
1 large onion, finely minced
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup olive oil
3 tablespoons honey
3 teaspoons frank's hot sauceĀ®, more for more heat
1/2 cup dark rum
dipping sauce of choice
Directions:
1. Prepare the wings by cutting off the wing tips. (Do this with a sharp knife, cutting off the wing tip at the elbow joint.)
2. Note: save the wing tips for making a chicken stock.
3. In a bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients until well blended.
4. Put wings into zipper lock baggies and pour marinade evenly into each baggie.
5. Shake a bit to make sure all the wings are covered.
6. Place in dish(es) in case baggies leak and put into the refrigerator.
7. Marinade overnight for best flavor.
8. Grill wings over medium-hot grill for 10 minutes, basting once or twice with marinade during cooking.
9. You can also Broil instead of grill, for 20 minutes, basting occasionally with marinade.
10. Serve with dipping sauce of choice.
